Windows 8 sẽ không đòi hỏi cấu hình cao hơn Windows 7

Vào năm sau, Microsoft sẽ giới thiệu đến người dùng hệ điều hành thế hệ tiếp theo của mình là Windows 8 (vNext). Và theo Microsoft, Windows 8 sẽ không phải đòi hỏi cấu hình quá cao so với các máy tính hiện nay. Trong thực tế, hệ điều hành này được thiết kế để hoạt động tốt trên bất cứ máy tính nào chạy được Windows Vista và 7.

Tại hội nghị D9, Steven Sinofsky, chủ tịch bộ phận Windows và Windows Live, đã phát biểu:

Windows 8 sẽ không đòi hỏi nhiều về phần cứng (bộ nhớ, không gian lưu trữ, đồ họa,…) nhiều hơn Windows 7.

Ngoài ra, theo một số thông tin từ bộ phận Microsoft ở Anh, Windows 8 sẽ đòi hỏi cấu hình tối thiếu như sau:

  • Bộ vi xử  lý: 32-bit (x86) hoặc 64-bit (x64) 1GHz trở lên
  • Dung lượng bộ nhớ: 1GB (32-bit) hoặc 2GB (64-bit)
  • Ổ đĩa cứng: 16GB (32-bit) hoặc 20GB (64-bit)
  • Đồ họa: Card đồ họa hỗ trợ DirectX 9 với driver WDDM 1.0 trở lên

Mặc dù đó là cấu hình tối thiếu của Windows 8 nhưng để tận dụng tốt các công nghệ mới của hệ điều hành này, một card đồ họa đời mới chính là thành phần mà người dùng nên nâng cấp. Windows 8 sẽ mang đến cho người dùng hàng loạt cải tiến mới trong công nghệ đồ họa như Windows 7 đã từng làm bằng việc cải thiện Tessellation, Multi-Threading và DirectCompute. Tuy nhiên, nếu không muốn nâng cấp card đồ họa thì máy tính của bạn vẫn có thể chạy tốt Windows 8 miễn là đáp ứng đủ cấu hình trên.

Bên cạnh đó, theo Microsoft, Windows 8 sẽ có một chút thay đổi trong thang điểm của Windows Experience Index. Trong Windows 7, điểm cao nhất là 7.9 thì trên Windows 8, điểm cao nhất sẽ là 9.9 hoặc 10.9.

    bữa nọ cài vista lên, hốt luôn! Cập nhật đầy đủ đi tong gần 20GB HDD trong khi có rất nhiều thứ mình không cần đến, dùng được 1 ngày thì chạy mất dép luôn!

    Làm gì có CPU 128 bit. Và cũng chả có hệ điều hành cho 128 bit đâu.
    Cái mà MS nói 128 bit ở đây là 2 x 64 bit hoặc 4x 32 bit đấy. Hệ điều hành mới sẽ tận dụng các lệnh x86 SIMD để cải thiện hiệu năng mà thôi.

    Mới chỉ dùng WIN 7 ở máy người khác chứ máy mình thì vẫn XP SP3.

    Năm sau Macbook Pro 2012 chạy Chip Ivy Bridge của Chim teo với hệ điều hành Mac OS XI – Dinosaurs (Khủng long) sẽ bán chạy hơn cả sức tiêu thụ Iphone 4, Ipad 1,2 hiện nay =)). Rồi Windows lại ngậm ngùi tung ra Windows 9 để gỡ gạc lại thôi!

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like). Where does it come from?
