Một số thông tin cơ bản về torrent:
Chia sẻ với bà con vài kinh nghiệm chơi torrent nói chung và hdvnbits nói riêng:
2 cái khó nhất khi tham gia sinh hoạt trên một tracker:
1. Kiếm đủ upload để acc có thể download thoải mái ( dĩ nhiên k quá lố) những film mình thích mà không phải tính trước ngó sau cái ratio.
2. Tuân thủ cái quy định về HR tại mỗi tracker.
Giải pháp:
1, Đối với những người đã chơi lâu tại hdvnbits thì cái này không khó, ngay cả với line cùi. Hdvnbits có rất nhiều cái để kiếm upload: chơi game ( đua xe, cá độ, đào vàng...), tham gia các team ( L2bits, Subits), Cắm máy ( hoặc NAS) để kiếm point đổi ra upload. Nếu biết tận dụng tất cả thì phần lớn là dư giả upload để đủ có film xem mỗi ngày.
Khó khăn thật sự chỉ là những anh em lần đầu chơi torrent, thì kiếm đủ upload có vẻ hơi chật vật, nhất là những người lần đầu vào hdvnbits thường bị "cuốn" vào hàng loạt film hot, film mới tại đây mà quên ngó cái ratio.
2. Rule HR:
Cái này khó hơn, Rule HR không thể bỏ, vì nó phá vỡ nguyên tắc 4. Vậy làm thế nào?
Thực ra rule HR không ghê gớm nếu bạn đã quen với P2P ( lại quen hi hi). Các bạn chỉ cần nhớ điều này thì sẽ k bao giờ phải lo về HR: đừng bao giờ bấm vào nút Stop hoặc Del Torrent trên utorrent trừ khi full HDD.
Vậy HR hay không quyết định bởi cái HDD của bạn đấy ( dĩ nhiên bạn đã là người có ý thức P2P rồi). Đây cũng chính là lý do alu yêu cầu bạn cho biết bạn có bao nhiêu HDD.
Khi chơi HD thì thật lòng bạn nên dành dụm kiếm cái HDD kha khá tí, ít lắm cũng là 1TB. Thế nào cho đủ: đủ là vừa đủ để bạn có thể giữ lại tất cả film bạn mới down trong tối thiểu là 2 tuần. Khi đó thì bạn đó có thể xoá film để leech film mới rồi mà k sợ dính HR. ( Dĩ nhiên xoá HD tiếc đứt ruột, nhưng k có điều kiện về HDD thì buộc phải dùng hạ sách này).
Không có điều kiện tậu HDD 1TB luôn thì sao. Giải pháp cuối cùng, tìm một con NAS. Con NAS bèo nhất hiện nay giá khoảng 500k ( bằng giá này bạn chẳng mua được cái HDD nào đủ để chơi HD cả). Con NAS này có khả năng seed được > 500 torrent cùng lúc ( chỉ seed thôi nhe). Đủ khả năng giữ seed cho các bạn vượt qua cái 14 ngày khá dễ dàng.
Top Ten Tips and Tricks for Private BitTorrent Trackers
1. Start out with Smaller Files
Initially, opt for smaller (i.e. under 1 GB) files for downloading.This gives you a greater chance of someone coming along after you anddownloading the same torrent (and you’ll be able to upload to them).Obviously a 700MB movie file will be more appealing to other sitemembers than a 30GB ‘Blu-Ray’ rip.
2. Jump on the ‘Newly Released’ torrents
This is a great tip for increasing your ratio in a hurry. Camp outin your favorite private BT site, and refresh the torrent listingsfrequently. Newly added entries will have many more leechers thanseeds, so you’ll be able to share (upload) more data. To maximize thistip, select smaller files – the “TV Episode” category works great forthis.
3. Select Files that have a High ‘L’ or upload number
This is important. When selecting torrents, base your initialselections on a high number of leechers (the more, the better). Thiswill ensure you have many avenues to upload to during (and after) thetransfer. When starting out on a new private BT site, we would even goso far as to say that you should download torrents that you don’t want– just start grabbing torrents that have lots of leechers. Once yourratio get over the 1:1 (1.0) mark, delete them.
TIP: If one of your seeding torrents remains popular, leave itrunning in ?µtorrent permanently. This will always help to boost yourupload ratio.
4. Avoid ‘Zero-Leech’ torrents
When you’re new to a private site, steer clear of the ‘zero-leech’torrents – it is impossible to increase your share ratio when there areno other downloaders. When viewing a list of torrents, look for the“Leecher” column (or just “L”) and avoid anything that has a zero ( “0?) in it. After your account ratio has become relatively stable, now isthe time to snag whatever you want.
5. Leave some tasks running in uTorrent
After the completed download of a torrent, leave the task running(as a seed) in ?µtorrent to increase your upload statistics. Don’tdelete (or move) the files of a running task! You can, however, extract(unRAR) the files, or copy the files from one place to the next. In theevent of a movie/video file – you’ll be able to “burn” or “extract” the*.avi file (or even play it on the PC) without affecting the seedingtorrent.
TIP: Always keep a few things running as ’seeds’ in your BT client.If you notice that they aren’t uploading, replace them with newer ones.
6. Go for the ‘Freebie’ downloads
Many private sites will offer “free” torrents that won’t countagainst your download statistics (thus, your ratio will remainunchanged). Grab these freebies – especially when searching fortorrents on a new account.
7. Use ‘Credits’ to purchase…
A popular feature among superior private BitTorrent sites is theaddition of a ‘credits’ feature for account holders. Credits can beused to ‘purchase’ VIP status, increased sharing ratios and otherperks. Not all sites are the same, but some credits can be acquiredjust from staying active in their IRC channel, or from just having thetorrents available for download in your BT client.
8. Do NOT try to ‘cheat’ the Private Trackers
There are a variety of ratio cheating tips available out there, but don’t be tempted. Trackers are fairly sophisticated and ever-evolving.If you get caught cheating, you won’t even be warned – it’s a permanentban for you and bye-bye for good.
