The LG27GP950 is a 4K (3840×2160) gaming monitor equipped with HDMI 2.1 interface. The monitor features a Nano IPS display with Vesa DisplayHDR 600 support. The monitor has not yet been officially announced, but it has already appeared in LG’s CES 2021 lookbook.

The monitor appears to be a refresh of the 27GN950-B which was already supporting 4K at 144 Hz. However, thanks to HDMI 2.1, the GP variant will unlock a 160 Hz refresh rate when overclocked.

The brochure does not confirm whether the monitor supports G-Sync or FreeSync, but it would be surprising if such a high-end monitor wouldn’t support it. We do, however, learn it will have the same 1ms gray to gray response time and VRR (variable refresh rate) support, which is more or less a confirmation of Adaptive-Sync technology.
