Rắc rối đặt tên đại học: Lạ lùng khi trong một 'university' lại có thêm các 'university'

Cái này nói mãi rồi University là tập hợp của các college/school trên cùng một campus rộng lớn. Ví dụ như College of Engineering là trường kỹ thuật , College of Natural Sciences là khoa học tự nhiên, College of Pharmacy là trường dược, College of Education là trường sư phạm, College of Medicine là trường y, …..

Mỗi College thì gồm nhiều Department ví dụ như trong College of Natural Sciences có Department of Math, Department of Biology, Department of Chemistry, Department of Astronomy, Department of Physics …
Trong mỗi Department quản lý major (ngành đó). Sinh viên có thể chọn option hay concentration ví dụ Physics, Option: Physics, Physics, Option: Space Science, Physics, Option: Nuclear Physics
