Many people think that increasing the petrol price is the most important method to deal with traffic congestion and pollution. From my viewpoint, I totally disagree with this statement since I still strongly believe that there are more optimal remedies which should be conducted to alleviate this thorny problem.
The first key rationale is inflation. In fact/ To be more specific, the expenses of goods are higher because of increasing the price of transfer goods such as food, beverage, medicine… Therefore many people, especially the poor, could not cover the fees of these goods. The second reason-> Another reasonable explanation is the moral problems of oil sellers. To express it in another way, because these people prioritize profits rather than other factors, they could produce fake oil to earn money, which leads to accidents of vehicles, or even demise of travelers who use that oil.
Due to the aforementioned reasons, I am of the firm opinion that there are other measures which must be applied to tackle this problem from the root.
raise people’s awareness about the importance of traffic and environmental problems. In fact, the government should launch many campaigns to encourage people = humans = citizens = individuals to use public transports such as buses, or/and trains
impose higher tax for private vehicles. As a result, many humans would probably consider carefully before buying them and think about alternatives to save money.
These solutions will make a great contribution to the reduction of toxic emissions = fumes and private vehicles on the road, enhancing air quality and making roads more spacious.
