I know I'm not the best person to answer this, but I have friends who have learned different languages and the #1 thing they tell me is to use it often. I'm learning Chinese right now and memorizing vocabs can only get me so far.

To preface my comment, I am a 95% native English speaker (i.e. born in Vietnam, moved to America when I was a kid) Damn bruh, good write up. There were a few common mistakes, and some words/phrases that "native" speakers don't generally use, but other than that it looks good.
