Scientific research should be carried out and controlled by the governments rather than private companies. Do you agree or disagree?
In the contemporary world, following the significant increase of investment in a wide range of scientific fields, there has been a controversy in the public, where people discuss whether scientific projects should be in charge and carried out by governments or private corporations. Both sides of this debate have their own merits, which are worth-analyzing before reaching any conclusion.
On the one hand, it is justifiable for several individuals to believe that the government should take over scientific research. One of the most noticeable reasons is governments of different countries can cooperate with each other, therefore they may be able to conduct studies on a larger scale which require a larger investment and private modern technologies. For example, global warming raises various concerns in society that need a collaboration of many countries in the world to carry out the research to deal efficiently. Another worth-mentioning sign is governments tend to focus on research which have strong positive impacts to the community as a whole. By contrast, private companies usually pay more attention to study fields which may bring considerable benefits for them rather than support the society or evenly maximize their profits without thinking about the backdraws.
On the other hand, there are numerous striking reasons for me to claim that private corporations should be in charge and control scientific projects due to the significant benefits it may bring. The first reason is that this could help to ease the pressure on the nation's budget to avoid financial burdens. As a result, citizens would have to pay lower taxes and the authorities have more money to invest on other important fields such as the military and education. Secondly, since the top priority target of companies is to earn money, they would have a significant motivation to conduct and research more effectively and affordably. Simultaneously, scientific studies which are taken over by private companies would not have to experience complicated procedures to get the investment or wait for the tax of citizens due to their own capital.
Taking all into consideration, whether scientific projects should be in charge by the government or private corporations is still a controversial issue at present. From my perception, I do believe that scientific research controlled by private companies is more worth-considering.

Hôm nay ngồi luyện nghe, vừa làm test tối nay được 34/40 -> 7.5 (có lẽ tại đề dễ). Giờ ngồi làm nốt 1 test reading xong đi ngủ là vừa
