Data Analyst:
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into data specifications (mapping, logic, KPIs).
- Understand end-to-end data flow from source → staging → DWH → datamart → reporting.
- Work with data models including fact/dim tables, star/snowflake schemas, and SCD/CDC concepts.
- Perform data quality checks, investigate data issues, and ensure consistency across systems.
- Collaborate with business, BA, and data engineering teams to deliver accurate, meaningful insights.
- Strong SQL and data manipulation skills .
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience working with large datasets or enterprise data systems.
- Ability to understand business processes and convert them into clear data requirements.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills; able to explain data concepts clearly.
- Exposure to financial or banking domain.
- Experience with BI tools, ETL pipelines, or data governance concepts.
- Understanding of metric definitions, lineage, and data quality frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Engineering
- Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines: source → staging → DWH → datamart.
- Build scalable, high‑performance data infrastructure using modern data processing technologies.
- Develop and optimize dimensional models, ETL/ELT workflows, and data serving layers.
- Ensure data solutions comply with internal standards, governance, and security requirements.
- Evaluate existing data architectures and propose improvements for scalability and performance.
- Integrate data from multiple systems using CDC, streaming, batch, and real‑time pipelines.
- Build reusable, well‑structured data assets for analytics, reporting, and ML/AI models.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and efficient storage/partitioning strategies.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and business teams to meet data needs.
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and drive root‑cause analysis.
- Work within Agile teams to deliver high‑quality, reliable data products.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices, coding standards, and team development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Experience in data engineering with strong skills in:
SQL, NoSQL, and modern data processing frameworks.
Python/Scala/Java or similar languages.
- Deep experience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT, and incremental pipelines.
- Strong skills in monitoring, debugging, and optimizing large‑scale data systems.
- Understanding of Information Security best practices for handling sensitive data.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience building ML feature pipelines or model serving environments.
- Experience with microservices or real‑time recommendation systems.
- Cloud data platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).
