Hi everyone, well, actually, after following some vozer`s advices, I am focusing on vocabulary.I pull an all-nighter to cram for many words by extracting new words from IELTS reading passages, and I am accustomed to a lot of new words. But you know, if you want to achieve band 8-9, you must complete your IELTS Reading test in 30-40 minutes. I am struggling with some questions in IELTS Reading. I am confident that I understand all the paragraph and question, but I still dont find the answer. This is a paradigm example to prove my perspective, you can see question 12 and the paragraph after scanning and skimming, I am wondering whether Cultivation or Yield is a correct answer

Although I dont see any new words in paragraphs, It seems that it is too tough to comprehend all the meanings of paragraphs, so it may lead to incorrect answer

You might not know the phrase "this without A beyond B", which means "the reason is not because A but because B". Note that vocabulary consists of both individual words and groups of words (fixed expressions), so you need to study both of them.
Therefore, the answer is "cultivation"

which grammar do you use, how can I learn all the grammar in IELTS Reading, I usually only encounter Relative clause in IELTS Reading,

This is a phrase, so this is a part of your vocabulary skills, not your grammar skills.
Technically, all grammar used in IELTS Reading can be found in "Grammar in Use" and "Advanced Grammar in Use". I personally use "The Grammar Book: Form, Meaning, and Use". However, rarely do I need to use this type of knowledge in IELTS Reading.

I know IELTS Reading has a lot of new words, Besides the problem of IELTS reading is comprehending all the context, is it correct, haizzz, so I must practice more and more

Remember, you just can't get an 8.0 in IELTS if you don't have the reading and vocabulary skills of an Advanced English learners. To develop these skills, an average learners need to spend months studying vocabulary and practicing reading skills by reading newspaper and books. That's what makes an 8.0 in IELTS Reading valuable.

tôi nói thật fen muốn reading cao thì fen kiếm mấy cuốn truyện chữ tiếng anh mà đọc, fen đọc tầm chục cuốn là fen xuống núi được rùi, hồi đó tui toàn đọc harry potter, percy jackson các kiểu, lớn lên thì đọc sang truyện ngắn của mấy tay nhà văn bắc âu, giờ thì toàn đọc báo nước ngoài, luyện ít đề lại, đọc nhiều hơn là được

Mình đoán là high yields phải không nhỉ. vì bài paraphare bằng đổi sở hữu cách thành of. Mình là người không có gốc tiếng anh (mình k thể trả lời bạn = tiếng anh ) ) nhưng thi lần đầu 8.0 overall và 9.0 IELTS chia sẻ với bạn chút thế này: học để vững tiếng anh là tốt, nhưng muốn làm reading điểm cao thì bạn nắm vững việc khoanh keywords, phục vụ scan và skim. Đáp án sẽ paraphrase lại câu trong bài đọc, nên có thể dùng nó để đoán đáp án. Và luyện thật nhiều đề đọc để thành thạo kỹ năng và có thể quản lý tgian tốt. Mong là giúp ích được bạn.

Thấy khó tin lắm, sao thi lần đầu 8.0 mà mất gốc được, hay bạn nói đùa. Mà người 9.0 lại viết sai từ paraphrase á? Cứ ảo ảo..

Thì thế mới nói k có gốc mà thi đc 8.0 đó bác. Còn từ paraphrase thì e gõ nhầm ) bác bắt bẻ thế. Chắc nói thế này thì mấy người học hành cẩn thận mà cũng chỉ đc 8.0 lại mất lòng or bảo chém gió. Mà đúng là trg hợp của e nó thế. Bác tin hay k thì tùy bác. E cũng chỉ khuyên các bạn theo kinh nghiệm em ôn thi thôi.
