thảo luận Practicing English with vOzers :D

If we connect a battery across a body, there is a movement of free electrons towards the positive end.
Từ body ở đây nên dịch nghĩa là gì cho đúng với ngành điện vậy mấy thím ?
Dò câu trên mạng thấy đa số từ nguồn tài liệu này?
https://dokumen.tips/documents/tieng-anh-chuyen-nganh-dien-dien-tu.html

Mình nghĩ dịch là vật/vật thể theo như:
https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/body?q=body
Nghĩa 7. [countable] (formal) an object
  • heavenly bodies (= stars, planets, etc.)
  • an operation to remove a foreign body (= something that would not usually be there) from a wound

I know we have a lot of boudaries that come between our relationship, and you’ll certainly feel desperate if this thing last long. This is the reason why I always hope that there remains magic in this life. I alway pray every night, because you are the one and only who I desirely want to goof around with anytime, anywhere; the one that I want to share my adventure, my stories every day. I write this thing, I accept suffer from our breaking up thing, from the fact that you are seeing someone else. This is because I Love You.

The strongest argument in favor of reevaluating the company's product lines has to be that
sales have been consistently declining for the past two years.
Cho mình hỏi động từ chính trong câu này là gì ạ

So my laptop decide to get broken on its last day of warranty with all my project information. I could not go to HCM to check with the store due to locked down and had to ask my boss to give me a lift to a store he know in Ba Ria. Turn out the main board is dead and currently out of stock in Viet Nam (or so he said). So I had to spent my 4 holidays without any games (thanks god I still have my books). And now I'm back to work with my hard drive installed into a shitty pc. Life sure hate me sometime. :beat_brick:
Well, I finally had a chance to go to HCM to have my laptop fixed. And turn out the PSU and mainboard is dead. The total cost for everything is 18mil vnd, while the pirce of my laptop is 35mil vnd. So I just said "**** it" and throw it away. I swear I will never buy anything from ACER again, it's only been one year and it's already dead. Now I have no laptop but luckily I got some months off work because of covid. I'm really sad right now, I don't know what should I use when I go back to work

I really really recommend you try to use the Lenovo thinkbook laptop. I think it is suitable for your work environment and especially it is cheaper than others. You can see that Lenovo laptops have taken 25% global market share last year although it is a young brand, overcome traditional brands other like Apple, HP, Dell... I bought one last year and until now have not anything to upset about it

The saddest part of life is when the person who gave you the best memories becomes a memory

I work as a technical support of a retail company and to be honest, all laptops have a relatively similar failure rate. But to tell the truth, if it weren't for the epidemic, Acer would never have sold like it it now. I don't know where you bought it, but I guess 35 million for Acer was - maybe - one of Nitro gaming series. Compared to the another gaming laptop brands that we already have received for warranty services, then, um, let's see, Lenovo Legion is quite small, often software and Windows errors. What does Asus have? TUF and ROG are also quite few but often have hinge and monitor errors, especially they have two years warranty and that make them quite prestigious. Dell's too expensive, gaming lines are also not so many, HP has Omen and Victus not long ago, so actually there are no cases, MSI is probably the company that sells the most gaming laptops and sometimes warranty cases is most of the time: batteries, hinges, keys... they used to have two years warranty so not a big problem to end-users. But Acer has been selling well recently, and there are quite a few error cases already.

Thanks guys, but I think I will stick with PC for now. My job is construction for factory and oil platform, which mean I have to move around a lot. But I've lost my faith in laptop, I think I'll try to bring my PC with for my next project.

I am desperate, and I dont have a purpose to live. How can I get over it.
There's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for
This is on of my favorite quote from LotR by J.R.R.Tolkien.
I've been in your place, and sometimes I feel like I fall back in there again. My only way to deal with it is keep telling myself "there will be something good awaiting me, I just have to get through this 1 more time, 1 more day"
Maybe you have to keep your pain and loss to know that you can survive whatever life deals you
When you dull pain and hide it from yourself, You dull your joys as well
These 2 quotes are from the Fool's Fate by Robin Hobb
I believe that we cannot be whole without pain and suffering. Without hardship, we cannot truly appreciate the joy in our life. So hang in there my friend, I hope the better will come to you soon

go out and stay away from internet or any smart device. Keep your mind are open, meet more people, can go beer with friends. If you are in the north, let go wandering through the mountain of the west north. Here are the days with the best weather of the year

Thank you. I am better now. I just feel stressed about the upcoming TOEIC test. I think there are many responsibilities awaiting for us when we are adults. Moreover, I feel guilty of not caring my ex, and let him go away while we are still love each other.
