Just want to share the books I'm currently reading. Really great books, I devour them fast as hell it took me only 1 week for the first book and maybe only 4 days for the 2nd.
Tho I'm only reading English books because it's hard to find some good fantasy books in VN.
While we are currently on this subject, anyone know how to get my hands on cheap English books/novels? I usually use Fado but the price is high as ****. The cheapest are always around ~500k/book, which I'm willing to pay. But some have price range around 700-1000k/book and a fantasy series always has at least 3 books (my biggest purchase is Malazan book of the fallen which has 10 books in total and cost me around 7mil, but it god damn worth it)

For beginner, apart from Oxford bookworm library, you may try other books in Penguin Reader series. One of my favorites in this series is "How to be an alien" by George Mikes.

1 week is crazy, it must be really good, I’ll check it out, and it dawned on me that there is one book that I just couldn't put down it’s called ”The last lecture” by Randy Pausch.
Anyway, cheap books? I have the same issue, if I like a book, I’ll just check some bookstores nearby and see if they have it but if not I’ll read it on Kindle.

Respond is a verb. It should be “response”. In addition, it should be “struggles” instead of “struggle”. It is very hard for native English speakers to understand what you mean by saying “appropriate respond to daily basic task, but…”

You should learn how to think and say like native English speakers instead of literally translating your thoughts from Vietnamese to English word by word.

Bắt lỗi cũng sai bét, đúng kiểu học vẹt. I never heard or saw là thì quá khứ có gì sai, đâu có phải bắt buộc phải dùng hiện tại hoàn thành.
Làm ơn trình độ thấp hơn và không có kinh nghiệm sống, học tập ở một nước nói tiếng Anh thì đừng bày đặt bắt bẻ ngược lại.

Tôi không ở Mỹ nhưng người Mỹ tại công ty tôi cũng hơn chục người bạn tôi nói ông sai đó. nhưng thôi, tôi muốn ngừng câu chuyện này ở đây, ông có đọc sách nào hay thì giới thiệu cho mn, không thì thôi, tôi không tiếp chuyện ông nữa.

Người Mỹ? Chắc Mỹ không hay là mấy thằng ở mấy nước khác, nhìn thấy tây tưởng là Mỹ. Chứ ở Mỹ môi trường giáo dục đại học hay bên ngoài dùng là bình thường. Chỉ có dân VN mới nghĩ phải luôn xài have/has. Ví dụ ở Mỹ người ta hay xài I just saw or I just watched chứ không nhất thiết phải I have just seen

Ngoài ra lúc tui nói câu đó thì tui đã thấy cái từ user of English thím viết rồi, nên tui dùng never saw and heard chả có sai chúng nào vì nó đã chấm dứt trong quá khứ

The phrase "user of English" is perfectly okay.
Just because you don't use that term doesn't mean it doesn't exist. In fact, this is quite a common usage in the British world, especially in academic contexts. The band descriptors at the back of the IELTS test report form classify band 9 users as "expert users", band 8 as "very good users", and so on.
The nuance here (user of English vs. English speaker) is that one doesn't have to speak English to be a user of English. Some English users (like myself) do not speak English most of the time - they read, listen to and write in English instead.

Văn nói sử dụng vốn từ vựng thường ngày, ngữ pháp đơn giản nhưng vẫn phải đúng nhé bạn. Đôi khi có những từ/cụm từ viết tắt, cái đó thì có. Nhưng không thể nói là chat chit "viết đúng ngữ pháp cứ thấy cứng nhắc" được.

Mấy kẻ học tiếng Anh ở VN mà đi cãi lại sinh viên Mỹ sinh sống ở Mỹ về tiếng Anh.

Có trình độ đại học đủ chưa. Không có ai xài User of English hay English user hết. Chỉ có mấy thằng học vẹt ở sau luỹ tre làng mới xài thui. Dân VN đã dốt mà còn tự ái không dám nhận cái sai của bản thân. Dân VN dịch kiểu người sử dụng tiếng Anh sang thành English user mà không hề biết dân bản ngữ người ta không hề nói vậy. Người ta xài English speaker nhé. Dân VN bao biện không nói chỉ đọc viết nghe thì nên xài English user thì càng chứng tỏ cái dốt của bản thân, cái thói quen suy nghĩ của người Việt và tiếng Việt rồi áp đặt lên tiếng Anh và người bản ngữ chứ không hiểu được ngôn ngữ văn hoá xã hội của người ta.

Yeah, hope you like it. The Oxford bookworm series is good for learners to get new vocabulary as they retold stories with a different range of vocabulary. Not like other novels or articles, they reuse words that are important so we can remember it.

yeah, i''ve just read Stage 0 level, and i think i can understand it, but listening is quite hard for me
