1. Governments around the world always want to facilitate those who participate in the national Army with a good educational plan. In the U.S., veterans with the honored discharge will be provided with many priority enrollments, financial aid programs, and scholarships. Additionally, they would be received a variety of one-on-one counseling services, academic support, and career development workshops.

2. Today, I would like to take SCC, which is Santiago Canyon College, as an example to talk about Veterans Students in college life. Veterans are typically people who served faithfully in a range of different military sections, such as the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force. In contrast with many other people, they do not have many experiences in social life and the business world. It is hard for them to apply for a job and get the job done.

3. To facilitate these patriots, the U.S. government has passed many laws and acts ensuring veterans go through the transition smoothly from army life to business life. The first program I would like to mention is Priority Enrollment. As you may be known, SCC has been awarded for being a veterans-friendly institution by the U.S. government. This program is to make sure veterans can register for courses firstly as they wish.

4. The second program is Veterans Students Scholarship. They will take any classes at no cost! There would be a number of eligibility requirements to be met. It could be not attempting 12 units per semester or a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above during two consecutive terms. In conclusion, veterans have a big chance of graduating with an associate's degree or certificate degree with a small amount of tuition if any.

5. When talking about studying college, textbooks play an important role in the academic success of students. Veterans can get free textbooks and other materials if some small requirements are satisfied. Please fill out the forms below and submit them with all supportive documents. The required textbooks may not be immediately available, but there would be notifications follow-up sent by staff. There are many editions and volumes of textbooks, so it is helpful to keep in mind that the textbook acceptance of faculty would be the final decision. Furthermore, you always have chances to contact your professors to equip other mandatory materials.

6. Good to see you today. See you tomorrow!

Learning the history of the world is one of the many interesting ways to know about people. Although every historical event is distinct, there are a lot of patterns shared. I have been starting studying the history of the world, so I would like to provide you with some information in written language.

As you might know, we humans have evolved over many millions of years. Many historical events have passed with enormous sources of lessons. From the very beginning, humans have encountered environments, dangers, scarcity of food, and much more. The prehistoric people had to come up with a variety of ways to survive, thrive, and reproduce. In terms of ideas for innovations, prehistoric humans observed nature and imitated one another in the creative ways of hunting animals and gathering wild plant foods. We humans together created cultures in different certain regions.

As time progressed, there are many complex concepts of economics, culture, politics, and society. The concept of history is a complicated term that should be put in various aspects of life. For example, the appearance of metal tools could be a huge advantage for a group of people, but it might lead to the extinction of another ethnic through wars. So as you study a historical event, try to ask and answer a number of questions to understand it comprehensively, such as why did the event happen, how it happened, and the consequences it may create.

As usual, I also have some stories to tell you. The first one is a story about politicians. There was a televised conference in Bulgaria. A politician was giving a speech, while a twenty-five-year-old man jumped onto the stage, and pointed a gun at the politician's head. The young man is in the opposition party and is against a new bill of human services. Luckily, there are security guards who tackled the man to the ground and hit him very hard. The attacker was taken to a police station nearby.

You remind me of these quotes
Why is it that foolishness repeats itself with such monotonous precision?
- Frank Herbert, God Emperor of Dune
and this quote
The lesson of history is that no one learns.
- Steven Erikson, Deadhouse Gates
I think this idea has been explored many times by many people, but these 2 are my favorite authors so these quotes were the firsts thing that popped in my head.

The general idea is that we human tend to make similar mistake but we simply refused to see it by that time.
For example, many of us see the colonization of the Persian or Roman Empire as a great thing, since it spread out the thing so called "civilization" to those so considered "barbaric" countries around them. Those empire create laws, human rights, education, sewer system... and apply them to the so called "uncivilized" countries. But on the other hands, we Vietnamese, as a colonized country, we see and we learn what a country under oppression can be, we have the views of the under dog, we have the first hand experience of the conquered country, the so called "uncivilized" country, the "barbaric" country.
Once again, I state that everything has its two sides, and it's up to you to decide which is "good" or "bad".
As for me, I cannot deny the upside of colonization, but I cannot, for the life of me, raise a hand to support the oppression of freedom. The idea of applying one's ideas on other people disgust me. I believe that, if our way is truly the better way, we can reach out and help the so called "uncivilized" countries. Because change doesn't wait for anyone, change comes to us all rather we want it or not. And so change will come to those countries, if we decide to reach out, give them a hand and show them the "civilization" way, instead of forcing out ways upon them.

1. Hello everyone. Thank God that I can write every day. Without writing, I do not know how to express myself thoroughly. As time progressed, the written language has become one of the most effective and long-lasting ways to preserve and pass on information to many following generations. So, today I want to back to the higher education I have mentioned before.

2. There might be some steps that need to be completed if you want to enroll in a college education. First of all, you need to get admission from a college or a university that you want to be in. There are some essays written to demonstrate who you are. It is not about abilities, language proficiency, or financial status. It is all about the "fit" between you and the college that you have always been thinking about. Indeed, in various essays, you need to come up with creative ideas to convince the Board of Admission members that you are the one who can contribute value to the common success of their institution. For example, it could be a little thing in your life that you have observed, then the thing became a source of ideas that you adopted, tried, and succeeded. Make sure it should be authentic because imitated ideas nowadays are easily recognized by a variety of Artificial Intelligence systems.

3. The acceptance rate will vary from school to school, depending on what kind of institution you have applied, funded or not funded, private or public. The next step that should be considered after receiving the letter of approval and admission is the financial matters. You need to pay every tuition and fee prior to entering the campus and getting started your first week at school. If you are a resident of the state where the college is located, it is much more simplified. The in-state tuition and fees are funded partly or whole by state and federal governments. You have also already had a social security number and a bank account number so the transferring is easier.

4. In the case of international students, everything seems to become complicated and time-consuming. You need to provide your personal information to banks and get the banking account done. Furthermore, there are many required forms from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Citizenship and Immigration Service authority. Everything should be done in a timely manner. In addition, you have to consider the visa matter. You should spend enough time and effort to make your file outstanding and convincing.

5. After going through these steps of the process, you are in the United States now. Congrats! However, it is just the very beginning of your interesting adventure. You might have to encounter many situations that you have not ever thought about, such as housing, traveling, studying, and engaging with the diversified culture in the United States. Hope you will develop and achieve your educational goals.

6. See you next time. Good luck!

Hi Sam,
Today, I would like to talk with you about writing English of me. In this morning, when I surf the web (Voz), I read a post. It suggest write about 30 minutes in a day, so today is a first day.
I don't have another topic, so I decided to choose this one and have a conversation with you. Since I haven't done this before, I have plenty of time to think and write about different things.
Today, I had a three-hour meeting, which gave me a headache. To stick to my daily routine, I try to make at least one commit to GitHub each day. Luckily, I was able to do it for the second day in a row today.
As part of my daily routine, I try to spend at least 30 minutes to learn English. However, I'm not sure where to start or what to focus on. That's why I'm hoping this writing practice will help me get started and improve my skills.
Best regards,

Today, I feel quite exhausted, but I'm determined to continue practicing my writing. Hmmm, since there's no specific topic at the moment, perhaps I can begin by describing my daily activities.

In the morning, I bought fast food called 'Bánh đập' for my family. In my country, it consists of baked rice paper wrapped around noodles in a round shape. The highlight of this is the sauce. However, when I brought it home, I realized that I had forgotten to take the sauce with me haha.

Today, I didn't have any specific tasks assigned at work, except for a two-hour meeting with our partners.

In this afternoon, I had several tasks that involved editing icon, color of a new kit in my project. Once I completed those tasks, I dedicated some time to self-learning my coding skills by working on my project and implementing improvements.

At the end of the day, I enjoyed a friendly football match with my friends, whom I met during my university days. Although I was quite active and moved more than usual during the match, but I can has any goal haha.
After completing this writing session, I will continue working on my project and proceed submit to GitHub. Have a good night and happy coding!

1. There are three things that I would like to mention today. These are studying abroad, Australia, and short stories. As you can see, it seems to be irrelevant.
Actually, you are right =)))).
Alright, let's get started with the first one.

2. As you can see in many previous posts, I have provided some information about studying abroad in the United States, especially at Santiago Canyon College. Today, I want to dig deeper into detailed information, which may be helpful for you guys who are seeking educational success. People usually believe that studying in higher education is not easy. That is true because you have to learn and go through complicated structured curriculums designed to let students have a specific view in certain areas. This turns out even more difficult when studying in colleges that might be taught in another language rather than your native language in an unfamiliar culture. These obstacles could cause you frustrated and worried. I am here today to provide you with better insights so you can equip yourself with knowledge and preparation to overcome uncertainty.

3. First of all, you need to master the language used at the place you are going to study abroad. Nowadays, English is by far the most dominant language in the world. This language is used, shared, and spread by people. The fact is that you should use it proficiently, fluently, and comprehensively. It will help you not only in the IELTS exams but also in your daily life at the college. With good skills in the language, you will have a thorough understanding of their cultures, share mutual interests, and replace your mindsets with ways of learning and working.

4. The second thing that plays a crucial role in success in college life abroad is getting updates on every news in your college communities, especially in financial aid. It is clear that you would be obsolete unless you do not continue to update every single piece of news happening around you. Being updated makes you more active so that you can take any chances if available, such as registering for a class you have always wanted, participating in a school team, or applying for financial assistance from the federal government. Getting into these supportive programs will help you ease the financial burden, as well as take any advantages you would have to complete your educational goal in a timely manner.

5. As I have mentioned before, there are some financial aids that you may be eligible for. It is FAFSA, which means the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. In addition to FAFSA, there is also another program. It is CCPG, which stands for California College Promise Grants. You can apply for both of these if you meet a number of eligibility requirements.

6. Alright, now move to the next topic. I have learned that Britain is one of the first countries to discover and develop wild Australia in early the 18th century. At that time, powerful Britain was facing a lot of problems domestically. Along with industrialization and the increasing number of the middle class, there was an enormous amount of poor people and criminals. There were not enough prisons to keep convicted criminals. The naval ships of the British were plentiful which is equipped with many innovative technologies. So many criminals have no choice and have to sign agreements to serve on these ships for distant voyages. The innovation of the compass has led the British to many new worlds, such as the Americas and Australia. It would be a long history of these matters and I hope to see you on these topics in the future.

7. The final section is about a piece of interesting news in sports fields. There was the most difficult windsurfing completion of all time. The best windsurfers were waiting so long for a dramatic storm landed to the area. They took advantage of the strong wind to make many fantastic shows for the audience. It could be very dangerous for amateurs. Another sports news might be attractive for you. There was a world record holder who was walking on a tightrope over a highway in Floria. He walked without using the safety harness. The breathtaking moment of this man attracts a lot of people to see. Finally, he got to the other side safely. People congrats him for this show.

8. Ok, see you tomorrow.

I felt sad because yesterday I had to stop my two-day writing streak. Today, I will share my routine from yesterday. The morning and afternoon of yesterday were a rather boring day for me, I didn't have any work in this. After work, I had a football match in the Nevourtek Premier League. However, there was a significant disparity in the number of players between my team, which consisted of only six players, and the opposing team, which had seven players. After suffering two match losses, this particular match held significant importance for my team. We were eager and hopeful to achieve a positive outcome and improve our overall performance. I kept moving tirelessly on the field, constantly seeking opportunities. As the situation unfolded, I quickly assessed the available positions and made my run. To everyone's surprise, including my own, I managed to score a goal. In the second half, while retreating towards opposing goal, I accidentally handled the ball, causing an injury to an opposing player. Surprisingly, this incident created an opportunity for my teammate. However, he unfortunately missed the shot, which was quite disappointing.

1. IELTS stands for International English Language Test System. It is designed for testing the English proficiency of test-takers. As some of you have already known, this test requires a range of English skills to evaluate the abilities more accurately. You can choose either the General Test or the Academic Test, however, in both tests, you have to prove your adaption in the college academic environments in English-speaking countries. Being compliant with these purposes and having an appropriate mindset could lead you to better results corresponding to your proficiency.

2. As I have said above, it is reasonable when starting to research all the detailed information that a college provides to the community. It would help you to know exactly what you are going to learn, why you chose a course rather than another, or what the desired career you have always wanted to achieve. Careful searching for courses offered by the college will help you not only to get a high score on the IELTS test but also to plan a good educational path to follow. To make it more specific, I would like to choose Santiago Canyon College as an example. Thanks to technological advancement, I could access a wide range of information provided by SC College to high school students, parents, and those who want to apply. You can check it out at sccollege.edu.

3. The first one I would like to mention is the courses offered by the college. As I took many different IELTS actual tests, I noticed that this test usually refers to a lecture taught by instructors in college. I found it difficult to follow as I rarely heard these terms in my area. So I had come up with helpful tips to help you to track everything said in the test. First thing first, I have searched all programs that SC College offers. There is a program that could be unfamiliar to most people. It is Anthropology. This is a huge and interesting field for those who are engaged in learning about the history of humans and the ways people interacted with the environments they encountered. The Anthropology area includes a number of sections such as Archaeology, History, Geology, Ethnology, Museology, Political Science, and Linguistics. I think it is worth spending time and effort to learn about this program.

4. The second program I found helpful is communication. It could be intimidating to communicate with other international and native students for those who study abroad. Lacking mutual cultural understanding could make you feel scared, shy, and unconfident when talking with other people. So I strongly recommend you take these classes when your class schedule is available. This program offers you a wide range of knowledge and skills, including interpersonal communication, self-presentation, gender and cross-cultural communication, and critical thinking and reasoning. Successful completion of this program can help you improve your soft skills which are sought by employers.

5. The last program that might be valuable for your profession is Economics. Updating ongoing events and economic policies could play an important role in your financial situation. You will participate in macroeconomic and microeconomic classes. In these classes, you will be taught about interest rates, unemployment rates, and the correlation between supply and demand that could affect the living conditions of a country.

6. In the next few days, I will come along with you in this matter. Hope you will find it helpful in preparing for the next IELTS test.

Cảm ơn bác đã chia sẻ! đúng với tiếng Anh muốn tiến bộ thì mình phải thường xuyên sử dụng ấy ạ

1. Apprenticeship programs are some hands-on curriculums offered by SC College. These practical programs are provided to those who intend to enter the workforce soon after graduation without further education.

2. The courses in the apprenticeships are mostly in the on-the-job training form. Apprentices will have many chances to work directly in industries under the supervision of accomplished professionals in their fields. Successful completion of these apprenticeships would lead the grads to prospective employers, who are looking for skillful workers and technicians. In addition, the apprentices might be eligible for a number of associate degrees and certificates of achievement because there are many college credits instructed during the programs. On the other hand, the college also has made a profit from tuition fees and has been part of the contribution to decrease the unemployment rate of the country. Employing apprentices from these programs of SC College also helps employers to have a sustainable source of the workforce for their business. We can consider these apprenticeships a good business model.

3. So now, I would like to mention some of these career education that I found interesting and helpful for you guys. The first program I am really passionate about is the carpentry apprenticeship. As you might know, residential houses in the United States are mostly made of wood except for their concrete foundation. In the carpentry apprenticeship, there is a wide range of divisions such as carpentry - concrete, finisher carpentry, framing, tilt-up, and so on. Each section will lead apprentices to many following careers which the labor market is seeking for. To make it more detailed, I will provide you with some specific information about each of these sections above. For example, as a concrete finisher, you would apply architectures, exposed, stamped, patterned, broomed, and smooth finishes followed by demands and applications. Your work could be a driveway, sidewalk, curb, or other structures. The workload is usually lower in the winter season and higher in the summer season due to changes in the temperature.
