Today I'm running out of writing ideas, can anyone suggest me a topic?
Here is a very interesting video about the usage of complex vocabulary in literature. How modern society is starting to simplify the usage of vocabulary in news, newspaper, literature... And how it effects people's literacy and in turn effects modern literature.

He has a very interesting point of how soldiers during the Civil War used very complex vocabulary (compared to today vocabulary) in their letters. And if you show people nowadays those letters, it would be considered abnormal because they sound almost too formal, too noble if you will.

This is kind of a weird topic but also interesting to think about since it's about the evolution of language, which is what we are talking in this box.

I read your translation but f*ck me, I just understand about 50 percents of this article helping by using the dictionary. I have read an article posted in VNexpress for some day ago which relate to this article, title "The enterprise was unsuccessful in sued the Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports" (Source: https://vnexpress.net/doanh-nghiep-kien-bat-thanh-so-van-hoa-va-the-thao-ha-noi-4637010.html). In this case, it's a complex problem that can't indicate who is right who is wrong. In the past, I worked in a big Bank, my job was administer some Small and Medium Enterprise. During this time, I faced with so many problems like that in the article. The administrative process exist in every organization, which make the organization follow to reduce a risk but it also contains many restrict, the example are the complexion, the executor, time and money, etc. If the enterprise want something from the state agency, they need to follow the process to achieve it. The understanding is very important to resolve the problem. The enterprise have the difficulties in processing because the state agency want so many things, the stage agency want so many things because they just follow the process. We can't blame who in this case, both have damages, the enterprise lose the money and the state agency lose the enterprise's faith. Our country is developing, the state is completing the administrative process. This administrative litigation is good signal to rush the processing. That is my opinion :D

Thank you for sharing your opinion on the complex problem discussed in the article. It is indeed common for organizations, including small and medium enterprises, to face challenges when dealing with administrative processes. These processes are in place to reduce risks but can also be restrictive in terms of time, money, and other factors. But it is important for the state to improve and streamline administrative processes. Cases like administrative litigation can serve as a signal to expedite the processing and make it more efficient. By addressing these issues, we can create a better environment for businesses to thrive and contribute to the overall development of the country.

After watching the entire video, I can see that the shift towards simpler language in contemporary communication, including written forms such as news, newspapers, and literature, can be attributed to various factors, including changes in societal norms, advancements in technology, and the need for more accessible and easily understandable content. In today's fast-paced world, people live hurried lives, so they need something easily consumable. Using overly sophisticated language would make them uninterested and think that the writer is showing off their intelligence. But in my opinion, this is just a communication issue between both parties.

I'm 25yrs old and currently a leader of an analytic team in a domestic bank. Actually, I want to laid off from my position right now due to a lot of reasons and pressure I need to face everyday ... F*ck off. I cannot protect my subordinates and secure the slot of work for them ... It's a long story and I will update in the next post!

Rice's price is increasing every day. I am a man who love cooking, I buy about 5 kgs rice on a half month for my hobby. I like soft rice because it's easy to eat and the price is low. The previous when I bought a bag of rice with the price was 16 thousand dong per kg but yesterday the price was up to 18 thousand dong per kg, increase more than 11 percents. I knew recently the needed of the international were increasing and it's pulling the domestic price, but I don't think the price is too high. If other food's price increase it will not be problem, but if the staple food's price increase it will affect to all the economics. I hope the government as soon as possible have some specific action to resolve this issue.

Some people hold the view that advertising plays a significant role in persuading people to buy things, while others think that advertising no longer impacts consumers' decisions. I believe that advertising is still successful in increasing sales and creating a huge impact on consumers.

Nowadays, numerous companies and organizations are constantly spending billions of dollars on creating advertising campaigns so that people can see advertising videos and images in the physical and online environments. People are unconsciously influenced by these and tend to buy products that appear frequently in their minds. On the other hand, social networks such as TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter are new ways to transfer ideas and information about products to consumers. By using complex algorithms, these social networks can deliver advertising to target audiences with high accuracy. Another form of advertising is using celebrities with gorgeous appearances to attract consumers. Almost all people are influenced by the lifestyles of famous people; therefore, they usually purchase products endorsed by their idols.

In spite of the fact that many people are impacted by advertising, some people think that they no longer pay attention to them. Instead of spending efforts on improving product quality, producers just focus on marketing with dishonest images about products. As a result, people do not believe in what they see in advertising content, and advertising is gradually losing its power to persuade people to buy things.

In conclusion, individuals should consider their purchasing decisions to save money and avoid unexpected experiences when buying any products.

Only the IELTS-certified examiners can assess and grade your piece of writing accurately. Be careful with feedback from others who do not have enough credit and proficiency.

I am also an IELTS candidate and I am going to take the IELTS exam tomorrow. I think there is something that could be better in your writing.

1. I am not sure about the IELTS Writing Task 2 question that your writing is answering, but I guess this is the type of "discuss both views and give your opinion". It is vital to figure out what kind of your question and answer fully and appropriately because it will affect your "Task Achievement" score.

2. Given that you are asked to "discuss both sides and give your own opinion", it is better that you move your opinion of "I believe that advertising is still successful in increasing sales and creating a huge impact on consumers" from the introduction to the conclusion and replace the last sentence in the introduction by something like "In this essay, I will discuss both sides of this matter". In your current conclusion, you only give out your opinion about purchasing in general. Therefore, your writing will be more highly appreciated in the "Coherence and Cohesion Criterion" if your own view is related to advertising in the conclusion.

3. In regard to "Cohesive devices", the phrase "On the other hand" in paragraph 2 is being used incorrectly. This signpost is to contrast ideas. I think what you need at that point is a word to emphasize the fact, such as "In addition".

4. One more thing is about the balance. You should write about both sides evenly no matter what you are agreeing to a specific side. Indeed, the IELTS exam is to evaluate how well a candidate can use the English language. By writing and justifying both sides in paragraphs 2 and 3 fairly, you are showing off that you have sufficient skills to convey your thoughts accurately. Furthermore, you can include your own opinion in the conclusion later on. So, it is ideal to write paragraphs 2 and 3 with the same amount of words.

5. Finally, I think your language in the "Lexical Resource" and "Grammatical Range & Accuracy" criteria is good. You can try taking risks and using more advanced words and structures because it can take you to the next level of proficiency.

I saw this thread yesterday, you posted a thread to share English communication documents. It’s hilarious because at that time I thought the coffee fee was optional. I don’t mean it’s not worth it, I was just surprised. I have saved a lot of free documents, then never read them because they’re free. So paying some small money kind of motivates me more. I hope I can keep doing this activity for as long as possible.
We waste a lot of time, in the morning talking about random things these days. I’m really talkative, but no one stop me because they said every story I told them was interesting.
I’m kind of addicted to coffee, and I don’t know when it started. I need a small cup of brown coffee every morning.
I bought the chopped chicken chest instead of the full one and my cat refused to eat. Seems like the chopped chicken are less fresh, or there’s a strange smell. I need to boil it so that my cat can eat it. The reason why I decided to let my cat eat raw food is my laziness. I’m too lazy to cook him pate but don’t want to pay more money to buy cooked pate.
I also didn’t start studying for my next goal. I have too many things to do, don’t have enough time, but when I have time, I choose just to lie on the bed and watch tiktok videos.
The core difference between my leader and me is that he’s always curious about the cause while I just accept the way things are as obviously. That’s one thing I need to improve.
I want to buy a nintendo switch but don’t want to spend more money on entertainment, I need to save money for bigger plans.
My back keeps hurting for more than a week. My soul is young, but my bones are not.

Due to the presence of bothersome and mocking individuals in the thread dedicated to Liverpool fans, I apologize for utilizing this thread to share my thoughts. :go:

What role does Wataru Endo play in Liverpool's lineup?

In the scenario where Liverpool has sold Fabinho to Al-Ittihad and has been outmaneuvered by Chelsea in acquiring Caicedo and Lavia, Endo plays the role of a firefighter, rescuing Liverpool from the crisis at the number 6 position. The captain of the Japanese national team and Stuttgart club will bring experience and reassurance to Liverpool in the midfield. If you have ever watched Japanese players in action, you would know that Endo possesses not only defensive abilities but also the capability to push the ball forward. This is highly advantageous as it provides Mac Allister with more space above to unleash his attacking prowess. Furthermore, Endo possesses strong leadership abilities, as evidenced by his captaincy roles in both the national team and club. He will motivate his teammates to advance collectively and inspire other players to give their utmost, fostering a positive team atmosphere. With prior experience playing in Germany, he will aid in effectively conveying Klopp's instructions. It may sound optimistic, but I believe that the player Endo will make a difference at the Liverpool football team.

aespa is back today with an English single, named Better Things. The song is quite good but I’m still not satisfied. They are all talented and have a lot of potential. They will be more famous if the company does better, I mean both the music and promotions. I still don’t understand their music. The producers put too much noise in the beat, making their music hard to listen to. I always get headaches, or my brain doesn’t fully load after first listening. Need to listen at least 3 times to fully like it. But you know, not everyone has the patience to fully listen to a strange song. We can not expect them to listen 3 times to feel and like a song. So that’s why I think SM’s music is not friendly for everyone, just the fan like it. That is also the reason why their streaming on both global and local digital music platforms like Spotify and Melon are bad. They will never enter the Billboard Hot 100 with that music. My friends always say that making catchy music is easy for SM because they have a lot of excellent producers, but they choose to make it complicated. And yeah, about the music lyrics, they’re like sh*t. You can not sing a song if you can not understand what the lyric means or if it means nothing. I know that they imply something, but who cares? Nobody gonna understand, and nobody gonna care.
About their promotions, I can confidently tell you that I can do better than them, a big entertainment group with a really big Marketing team. I guess all their marketing and social media staff are old. They don’t know what is trending, how to make a trend, or how to make the promotion content. They let their idols join tiktok too late. Their songs also don’t have any catchy path, potentially viral. The promotion power of tiktok is crazy. Look at the success of Stray Kids or Fifty Fifty. The most successful tiktok trend of SM is the Zoo challenge. But the cause of the viral is not their promotion, that’s because of the high-quality choreography that Taeyong did. And also, the streaming of Zoo on Spotify is also good. I think SM should fire all their marketing staff, hire more Z-generation staff for those positions, and also increase their salary and benefits.
We - the fans, are all frustrated about this company, especially NCTzens. My talented boys deserve a better reputation. I heard a rumor that the company doesn’t want the idols to be too famous. They want to control them. They gaslight idols that they are not good enough and that they can not maintain their reputation and income if they leave the company. My poor boys get frustrated and fearful. We love the idols, not the company. The company really made us mad.

When freedom disappears from the Voz forum

To commemorate today, my main account has been banned from accessing the forum for over a year due to violating the regulations of posting in the F33 Section. (Actually, I intentionally sought to have my account banned because I was extremely frustrated with the constant deletion of threads.) Therefore, today I will write a post about the ongoing situation on the Voz forum.

I remember the old days on the Voz forum, spanning from 2011 to 2019. During that time, the forum was incredibly vibrant and filled with humor, boasting numerous high-quality threads. In particular, the F33 Section was a hub of activity, with each post attracting a multitude of comments. People with a fascination for the United States, Russia, and even China would passionately present their viewpoints, resulting in a colorful and diverse Voz. I recall instances where discussions would take unexpected turns, with participants engaging in humorous insults and racers making sharp maneuvers that caught everyone off guard. While there were occasional trolls who specialized in provoking and poking others, overall, Voz was truly a lively and authentic forum during that period. Even humor reached new heights. I vividly recall reading a thread titled "Punching an old man and three guys in the village because I was coerced into drinking alcohol and hopping around a blazing fire during a trip to the Northwest" back in 2018. It was crafted by a particularly witty individual who excelled at creating threads that would leave people in stitches. Despite their fictional nature, however, I found it immensely amusing, and it brought laughter to me after a long day at work. Once again, I remember the writer Natuan and his timeless literary works that have caused many hearts of Vozer to tremble violently whenever they delve into his stories. Alongside numerous other legends such as Phong Tom's ability to defeat opponents with a single blow, or the tale of gacolondon creating over a hundred accounts to challenge the moderators, etc... all of these characters and events have played a significant role in shaping the Voz community with its unique cultural aspect, setting it apart from any other forum.

However, everything has undergone a complete transformation, particularly after the Corona pandemic. The F33 Section has experienced a 180-degree shift in its nature. Previously, it was a platform that encompassed a wide range of emotions and discussions, however, it has now become a place of strict censorship. Any comments, even light-hearted jokes, directed toward the government are promptly deleted. Even threads discussing legitimate topics such as social insurance, which every citizen has the right to discuss, are also being removed by moderators. Furthermore, hot current affairs issues like the Ukraine war are banned from being discussed. It is disheartening to witness the Voz forum's decline into weakness and cowardice. What has happened to the forum's characteristic essence that once defined its brand? In the name of "forum safety," the administrators and moderators have callously suffocated the very essence that shaped the forum, allowing it to fade into oblivion. The Voz forum now boasts a modern interface, but it is akin to a mere decorative vase, with withered flowers and murky water. The forum's distinctive feature was its freedom, which has now perished. It seems that the forum itself has lost its defining element, never to be found again. Perhaps, in a few years, memories of a free Voz forum engaging in diverse discussions will remain as a beautiful reminiscence for some. Once repetitive topics become monotonous, it is likely that everyone will abandon the forum. Is it possible that, at that time, the moderators and admins would prefer to adhere to strict rules that suffocate the forum, ultimately leading to its gradual demise?

P/S: Sorry for this lengthy and grumpy post, if you don't like it, you can skip it.

I graduated from Hust after five years studied to get an engineering degree. Five years are not too long for people who focus only on tests and careers, which is like you go to school and coming back after school, with not too many memories. However, I also have gotten a few special memories for the first time. In my first year in university, although I had a good grade which was in two maths calculus I and algebra, I barely know what is the target for me to study so in the next two years, my grades had gotten lower each semester. And at that time, I also had many classes for tutors which is like an easy job to get money and don't waste my knowledge. As a result, I think that if I can make money in this way which is not too difficult so I can continue going this way even if it didn't gain me any new knowledge for my future career and especially pull down my scores cause of I am so exhausted after teaching many classes. The situation continued for two years and my grade decreased from 3.4 gpa to 1.9 gpa which is not enough to get a good level. I cover all the results so nobody know this, because I think this problem that only I can solve, yet my family also found out cause I had studied with one of my friends from High school and he also take the same class as me. The point is his family discovered that he also didn't learn like me and concentrated on video games which make them question the time we were at school so they also remind my family. My father told older my sister to control my study process so she could report to my father. With that mission and in some ways, she signed in my account and knew my bad grades at university to tell my father, I don't blame her because I am also a stubborn person and I only fear my father. When my dad knew this, he is so angry that he want me to control all the time I go to school. At that time I also broke my arm after playing football, so the route from my house to school I take the bus my dad thought that I could go somewhere not to school so he want to take me there and pick-up me up like a secondary student. After all, I felt like a prisoner and had a big argument with my family and after that, my mind has something to change I realize that this unbalance lifestyle can lead nowhere cause taking the money I had done for the tutor and paying back subjects which I had failed is kind of stupid thing. But for sure I knew that the only way to move on is to improve my point at school to break the doubt of my family for me and continue the road which I think is right to become a pharmacist and engineer.

I started to play township again. I know it wastes a lot of time, but I feel bored in small gap times duration. When I was in high school, I once asked my friend, who was the best at studying in my class, why he could study that hard. He answered that because he had nothing else to do. That really surprised me. Back to now, I start to understand why he felt that because I feel the same. I’m quite busy with different schedules, including gym, 9 hours of work but I still don’t know what to do every evening. Myself in the past would never think that one day I would spend time studying every evening because I had nothing else to do.
Yesterday evening, my childhood friend texted and told me she would come over in about one hour while I was lying lazily after dinner. My room was a bit messy with some un-folded clothes, dishes in the faucet, and cat fur everywhere. I was surprised and started to tidy my room right after that. But you know what, after 30 minutes to finish, my friend said it was too late so she wouldn’t come. And we will go to a vietnamese restaurant for dinner this evening instead.
I don’t know why people have abs, for me it’s really hard to lose belly fat. Losing weight is not easy, and gaining and maintaining muscle percentage is extremely hard. Maybe belly fat is the problem of my body itself, some problem with nutrients absorption or fat distribution. The best way is not to let my fat gain. I discovered why I’m always over-spending: eating out too much. Consequently, I decided to cook every weekend and defined a menu with different kinds of food. Deciding what to eat is also hard for me. I realized one bad habit of my colleague is that she always blames someone else if there is any problem with her code. Her first reflection is always blame. I know it might be true sometimes, but that’s not good behavior. It makes me think that she’s really a selfish person, or she actually is. Our working environment now is quite simple, but I think bad habits will badly affect her relationship with others, like colleagues. or mother-in-law, etc.

As I said in the previous paragraph, today I will talk about GMP and standards when producing drugs in medicine factories. The first thing, I want to mention is managing residual preparations in production which meaning is to storage in the right condition, managing, treating, and using them efficiently. Waste could be handled suitably, and not harm to environment. The object applied: First is the production department, the production staff treats the residual preparations, management confirms the method for treatment, and an accountant in the factory summarizes the figure of information. Next the mission of the QA department, the IPC staff supervisor the process, and the specialist of quality products evaluate the cases arising. The storage department receives and stores the leftovers and finally, the workplace service receives and manages the residual preparations. However, to be more clear about the action by each step, I will describe, workers' needs to know what is the residual preparations: they could be ingredients, intermediary products, or half-products that are still left (or recovered) in the production process and be confirmed to reach quality (maybe by the QA department) and can be put into the next batch production to treat. Waste product comprise ingredient and intermediary, half-products is sticked in equipment and can not recovered, error packaging, product and half-products do not reach quality and can not recovered. The packaging contains ingredients, products, and half-products. More specifically, the production staff collects/ sorts/defines mass/ package following the steps of each product ( PE bags, storage tank, glass bottle...) Seal and move into the storage leftovers area.
The time and method to handle leftovers are regulated in the appendix.
The procedure for using residual preparations:
The residual preparations that are closed to date or the time used is shorter need to be consumed first.
The leftover product could be put in the next batch in production regulation.
The residual preparations of one batch could be used for another product when have the same formula apothecary.
The IPC staff tests by sense before using it for the next production batch.
Annual 20 months, management review all the residual preparations in the factory and report in monthly production plan meeting.
The expired products or products that have not been regulated in the appendix need to be treated in procedure in treatment unsuitable products.

I do not know how to show my feel at this time because I feel not good today. Although, my company have 2 new female colleagues and they are beautiful, I can not feel better. The reason for this is all of old colleagues are so toxic and they are always descriminate me when I am working at the company. I am always wonder why they treat me like that even I so nice and generous, kind of to many people in agency. I usually spent all of the day for working, but in break, I learn English, especially reading and speaking to improve my skill. I still want to improve writing skill but I do not know where to begin. So sad

Words that win
Chapter 1: How to have a confident and professional style of communication.
The first story is about President Franklin D. Roosevelt and a conversation with Lyndon B. Johnson, a younger senator in the state of Texas. Johnson wanted to convince the president about a project however he needed to adjust the way he communicated in the conversation he talked so loud like yelling focusing on the key words such as electricity and water and after just a few minutes the president supported his project. The example above brought you huge benefits from small words but the elite. A politician always attention to small details in presentations and requests to communicate in the most efficient way.
Five methods to communicate better:
The first is to emphasize the main content by summarizing and brief sentences.
Training the habit of reporting the primary information to co-workers about books or newspapers that you have read or the content of seminars that you attend. Choose the subject that make sure them to be interested in listening to or relevant to their jobs and focus on five questions: "Who; What; Where; When; Why". For example, when talking to a partner or client before the meeting describe briefly the things you have studied after that seminar.
The second is choosing the correct and understandable words.
Use specialized words with only experts and specialists, if communicating with normal people just use as casual words as possible.
Third is using strong and short words:
For example Wrong sentence: The truth is we are at the top of sales show us that....
True sentence: We are at the top of sales. That shows us....
Wrong sentence: Mrs Smith, the person who is now head of the department will speak with us today.
True sentence: Mrs. Smith, our head department will talk with us today..
That means we should cut off the surplus information in our sentences.
Fourth: Give comments straight.
Talk directly to the substance of the problems.
Fifth: Avoid using words covering the blanks.
Like yeah, uhm,...
Using restrict this kind of words.
Next, we will focus on seven ways to have diverse and efficient words.
1. Listen carefully to the words of the speaker mentioning.
2. Spending time reading books and newspapers.
3. Studying specialized words
4. Research new words
5. Using a note-book to write new words
6. Increase and consolidate the sources of words
7. Apply new words every day.
Next, we will concentrate on body language to express confidence, poise, and attraction

Hello everyone, I hope you all doing fine!
It would be the very promising thread, commenting here as a place holder. Will visit this more often.
