LOL my dude I don't know why you'd think that but counting F17 and F33 alone they are practically two trucking oceans. VOZ is definitely no small pond.one winner among countless other losers of the VOZ universe I reckon. Such a big frog in a small pond.
big frog in a small pond is an idiom, basically means thằng chột làm vua xứ mù. I'm not saying VOZ is small in any way, duh.LOL my dude I don't know why you'd think that but counting F17 and F33 alone they are practically two trucking oceans. VOZ is definitely no small pond.
Yea I know of the expression, but technically it doesn't apply to this place. I'd like to think there are much more successful folks around than it's let on, they obviously don't bother showing it off though.big frog in a small pond is an idiom, basically means thằng chột làm vua xứ mù. It's quite useful for me especially when I need to write emails. It will highlight most errors and even give suggestions for vocabs and wording. Try out their free version and see whether it fits you.
I am desperate, and I dont have a purpose to live. How can I get over it.
Your boss is considered a "Winner" member on Voz forum. My vice director is a Vozer as well. He confessed that he was proud to be a Vozer to all of his employees![]()
I think you should strike to be like him.
ELSA Speak or Duolingo. The former is much more popular, at least here in Vietnam. Both are subscription-based services though ELSA has a lifetime package with more customer support. Thanks for your replies. I just bought the Premium version, three months warranties for about 190k VNĐ, relatively cheap IMO. Let's see if it can improve my grammar or not, lol. By the way, does anyone here know (or use) an app or a service that lets you chat with a native speaker?
I think you get heavy stress, please do on the list below

5. Happy with what u have
6. Building the new plan on the future, find a way to list the obstacles you have on paper
7. Set a goal for week/month/year.
8. Let's get moving into action, don't scare of fail.
9.Learn another foreign language and learn to play an instrument ( guitar, ukulee, harmonica, etc)
10. Go to bed early every day !

. I must say that he is an eccentric billionaire. But this man is also a philanthropist as he often donates money to charity organizations. Back to the story, while we were chatting and walking, we saw people crowding in a bookshop. " Dude, what's happening in there?"Ethan asked me. " I have no idea. Let's go inside" I replied. So we went inside and asked some people;a middle-aged man pointed his finger at a boy at the corner next to a bookshelf and told us that boy tried to steal a book but was caught red-handed by the bookshop owner. I looked at the boy. He was wimpering; there were tears in his eyes. He was holding a book, which later i discovered that book was all about mathematics and written by a prominent professor. I speculated that this boy had to be a student because no one could possibly read that kind of book. I frowned and thought " It's a disgrace for this student to be such a lowly thief. No student should ever do that."
Your story is like the fairy tales my grandmother told on summer nightsIt has been a long time since i last posted in this thread. So I will just write something down.
Long long long long ago, I was wandering round the streets with my fellow Ethan. He is a very affluent man owning several mansions around the world. Sometimes, he even uses dollars as toilet paper. No student should ever do that."
" I'm sorry, sir...I promise i will never do this again.." the boy spoke in a low and apologetic voice. " No! You did this so many times before. I'll not let you get away with this. I will send a letter to your headmaster." the shop owner shouted furiously. The boy looked so desperate; the desperation showed clearly through his eyes. However, Ethan had walked to the boy and offered help. He asked the owner to forgive the boy . He said only the excellent student could understand this book thoroughly and he ( the boy) had to be very intelligent to read this book. Everyone seemed to agree on him. " Let me buy this for him as a gift." Ethan said firmly. The owner was stunned for a moment but then walked with Ethan to the cashier desk. Later, Ethan walked back and gave the book to the boy. He was so delighted. A feeling of relief was shown on his face. " God bless you, sir" he thanked us and then ran out of the shop. I and Ethan both were happy. We then said goodbye to each other and walked home.
That's it. I stop now 'cuz i run out of ideas![]()
holy mf sheet that's a lotWell, I finally had a chance to go to HCM to have my laptop fixed. And turn out the PSU and mainboard is dead. The total cost for everything is 18mil vnd, while the pirce of my laptop is 35mil vnd. So I just said "**** it" and throw it away. I swear I will never buy anything from ACER again, it's only been one year and it's already dead. Now I have no laptop but luckily I got some months off work because of covid. I'm really sad right now, I don't know what should I use when I go back to work![]()
Why making up stories like these? It has been a long time since i last posted in this thread. So I will just write something down.

it has been a month and i'm just notice it. in my experience, stay away from asus and acer laptop, especially their gaming laptop.Well, I finally had a chance to go to HCM to have my laptop fixed. This does not something easy to do. Depression is not really get acknowledged in VN. One does not simply just be happy with oneself5. Happy with what u have

Yes, I really hate these role play account in Voz and there're tons of them in F33Why making up stories like these?
We're kinda tired of reading these clichés (sorry if it offends you).
Anw, a story about man trying to outwit nature and successfully survive the wild may do both you and us readers better.
Yeah. When I bought it I know there would be some risk. But its specs look much better than other laptop with the same price and I got a lot of reccomend from voz. So I took that risk, and now I cannot help regretting it. There're truly some lessons that have to be learnt by experienceit has been a month and i'm just notice it. in my experience, stay away from asus and acer laptop, especially their gaming laptop.

Giving advice to a child is like flinging sand at an obsidian wall. Nothing sticks. The brutal truth is that we each suffer our own lessons—they can’t be danced round. They can’t be slipped past. You cannot gift a child with your scars—they arrive like webs, constricting, suffocating, and that child will struggle and strain until they break. No matter how noble your intent, the only scars that teach them anything are the ones they earn themselves

I'm kinda a weird one. I learnt English up to 9th grade and stopped because it bored me. Since then all I do is reading, a lot of reading. At first it was only manga and game, after that I tried out some visual novels and found that it was not that hard. In college, I only took 1 TOEIC test without any preparation (my friend and I played game upto 2am the day before the test, slept, continued to play upto noon and was almost late for the TOEIC testthat's too
that'd be too generic to say, of course he was already striving.
It's better to suggest some tips and tricks that once helped you or others, might as well work for him.
) and it was enough for graduation, so I didn't have to take any English lesson in college also. Then I started reading English fantasy books like Lord of the Ring (Vietnamese translation is shit lmao), Witcher, Malazan,... But sadly I could not find anyone with the same flavour in books like me here, so I started using reddit and making alot of discussion there.I just wonder that why do you want to get better at English? Just for communication or for some diploma, certificate,...? what make you think you are not getting better? Perhaps you do get better you just haven't realized it. If you want to improve your English just for communication, your English is perfectly fine imo.
Anyway I'm not that great at English to give advices, but maybe, just maybe you are forcing yourself too much on study English, to get better at English. In my opinion, English is just a language, just a tool to communicate. Maybe all you have to do is stop trying to forced it on yourself and just embrace it, use it as what it mean to be. Read your favorite book in English, watch movie in English, listen to podcast, or just watch some bullshit on youtube,... I'd only spent 4 years in high school to study grammar, since then all I do is use it as what it meant to be. But again it's just my opinion. Anyway good luck on your English my man.
Yeah bro, u nailed it, u have learned by the exact way languages are learnt.I'm kinda a weird one. I learnt English up to 9th grade and stopped because it bored me. Anyway my point is that English overall is just a language,so I think the best way to improve it is to use it for what it is - a tool for comunication. It was also my thought in my first post here.
