Be confident bro! You don't need to sound like native speakers in the speaking test, just try to answer the questions directly and remember to pronounce the ending sounds. For reading and listening, just focus specifically on Cambridge IELTS book (4-13) to broaden your vocabulary thus serving for your writing and speaking. I'm now doing my Master degree in Europe so my English has been dramatically improved (I only had 6.5 for my first attempt before coming here). Hence, I am happy and willing to share with you my approach, experiences or any tips of English learning, just drop me a message!

Ya,i have a question : have any tips when we r to used to-verb or verb-ing(it means that to infinitive...).i want to find the way to distinguish that.Instead of having to remember (my memory is not good).Some of people said it is derived from french,but i don't have time to learn french

i passed this, with the band 6.5. Now i am learning in main program and having new struggle: Calculus 1 :beat_shot:

First of all, that's "pronunciation". Anyway, in order to improve it, that can't be done immediately yet a long process. Motivate yourself because you're gonna be in a journey and don't feel discouraged soon. Re-practice from single words first, try some recommended tips such as listening to music or watch films to see how native speakers pronounce them. Listen and repeat what they say, slowly to check whether you speak correctly or not. Good luck!

Thanks for guide me about that. I usually watch film that have a subtitle by english,but some people said that i pronounce not exactly.it make me feel unconfident in communication

Để ý cả trọng âm nữa. Phát âm có thể mang tính vùng miền của nơi sống nhưng hiểu là được, chả có gì. Bạn đi làm nói chuyện broken English cũng được, miễn là phải ra ý chứ không vòng vo.

Hmm It's tough to answer as there is no formal rule for that (as far as I know). You might need to check out this link: https://learnenglishteens.britishcouncil.org/grammar/beginner-grammar/verb-ing-or-verb-infinitive :boss:

Just go through that to capture a general understanding. For your upcoming test, try to memorize as much as you can. For long-term learning, I would suggest you try to frequently read English text (news, books, Reddit...) to see how those sources use "to'' or "ing". The next thing you should do is trying to use them in a specific context (For example, your daily practices). You will not remember everything in the first place, but I am sure after repeatedly doing what I am telling you, you will be able to use them correctly and naturally without memorizing. :byebye:

If you're only focusing on speaking for casual communication, try more on pronunciation instead of grammar (if you are trying)

The Vietnamese people who said that Romeo and Juliet was a tragic, beautiful love story, I bet that they haven't read the English version yet.
The English of Shakespeare's time would take all of your reading time to focus on trying to make sense what was written, instead of enjoying the plot.
