It took us the last three years of our students trying to get out of this place, and a lifetime longing to come back .... I used to wish to get out of there quickly. But after graduating from school, I realized that this life has never been easy and light, that place probably literally means paradise.

Lately, all I can feel is emptiness. All of the sudden, I don't know of joy or sorrow anymore and life's just seem so dull. In my eyes, every value or meaning is nothing but deceitful propaganda, turning people into excellent actors. I don't bother to do anything, all the time look at the phone screen and scroll without seeing a thing. Feeling like I'm struggling, even to exist.

Love will fill your empty heart. let go out and find it

Anyone here knows of Assisted suicide?
I personally love the idea to help people, who're in dead end of course, to be released from their torment. However, the issue's such a delicate one that the service's left unnoticed and many of those knowing it tend to criticize harshly. Though I can understand their fear and optimism up to a point, I still do hope the service get accepted abroad, and carried out with absolute strict process.

I don't agreement your opinion. Because the people responsible after works so they responsible theirs life. Nobody can interfere in their lives. They who's in a dead no need life, have to think about your family.

Sorry man but I hardly understand your idea. Could you express, maybe more concise for me?
Well, from what little I got from you, I want to explain that Assisted suicide's solely applied for the incurably injured. While one can enjoy life by himself or with his beloveds, he will continuously suffer from pain as well. So that there will be a time when he's absolutely exhausted, helpless and depressed, seeing himself as a burden that heavily shoulder others and prevent them from their life ahead. Then, he may have the option to end his life with ease, and let others move on. Responsibility is indeed a thing, yet I find this choice is responsibility itself. To help you and your beloveds both happy.

Vozer eng li no good
Me either, tbh, I feel like my levels got stucked for good, I did all kind of stuff, all kinds of learning methods but simply ain't making any progress.
Perhaps I should take a break, lean back and weigh things up, otherwise, this dilemma is here to stay.

this thread just popped up in Voz's new feed, nice place for talking bullshit without any "submarine". Just hope this place is not as toxic as the rest of this forum.

I just wonder that why do you want to get better at English? Just for communication or for some diploma, certificate,...? what make you think you are not getting better? Perhaps you do get better you just haven't realized it. If you want to improve your English just for communication, your English is perfectly fine imo.
Anyway I'm not that great at English to give advices, but maybe, just maybe you are forcing yourself too much on study English, to get better at English. In my opinion, English is just a language, just a tool to communicate. Maybe all you have to do is stop trying to forced it on yourself and just embrace it, use it as what it mean to be. Read your favorite book in English, watch movie in English, listen to podcast, or just watch some bullshit on youtube,... I'd only spent 4 years in high school to study grammar, since then all I do is use it as what it meant to be. But again it's just my opinion. Anyway good luck on your English my man.

I think music can help one get better at English especially at listening skill, even then music still have shitty pronunciation due to all the melody. I've always think of music as poem with melody and do you find our Vietnamese poem have good grammar? But it still help one to get better in English I believe, as our ancestor once said "không bổ bề ngang cũng bổ bề dọc". Tho music may not help one at grammar, it may help us in various way, let us take hip hop genre for example (and I'm not even a hip hop fan if you ever wonder). For one to write a good rap song they need a lot and by a lot I mean a **** ton of vocabulary, I heard Eminem used to read dictionary in his free time. But to clarify my opinion, I don't think just listen to music can help one get good at English, as I mention above to get better at English one should just use it as what it is, a language, a tool to communicate, to share, to store information.
