That is difficult question for me. I still improve my writing skills by practicing on this topic day by day. As for your question, I hope someone who is professional english will give you exactly answer

Cho hỏi câu này dịch thế nào cho hợp lý các mai pen:" over time we learned and that accumulated knowledge raises are living standards."

Just read about competition in school as a indispensable motivation for student to improve, and a question springs to my mind for an instant. We all know that competition would turn people's life to the misery of such an endless fighting, but its proved to be too effective with children who are still not capable of realizing the value of themseleve. Then what is the best way to end this vicious circle? To drag people out of this common tragedy? :(

Well, the education system is only effective when most students can realize its purposes. But the way I see it, our school curriculum is really heavy while serving little benefits to them. Many friends of mine barely even remember what they learn, yet still remember the hardship & inequality from those harsh competitions. So unless students are encouraged to explore their favorite courses rather than being forced to compete by adults, this circle will never end :beat_brick:

I have a different opinion from you, the heavy school program will help students have good thinking and withstand pressure well. I see East Asian countries like China, Japan, and South Korea all have very very heavy school programs, all of which are economically and culturally successful. In the US education system, magnet schools are public schools and their students have the same school program as other East Asian countries. Up until now, I think the time in school is still the happiest time in my life, more than anything in the world.

I'm absolutely up to help children improve their logical mindset and handle difficulties to come. While the first point may be satisfied, the second is currently left unchecked. We give children pressure, particularly peer one, with the hope of their overcoming, yet most tend to "endure" not "handle". For each day passes, children have to hear severely critical comparison for their mistakes, bad results and so on. Consequently, jelousy, evil or sorrow start to emerge and take roots deeply in their soul. Then the day they become parents, the very pressure is passed to the next generation :(

As you see, given such early thirst for competition, to become the only winner, the most successful person on the world would not be happy. He would always live in fears of getting dethroned and thus, see everyone else as potential rivals. So, why do we live if not for happiness?

if they can't overcome their pressure in school time, when grow up to work, how will they face the other difficult thing? You must be successful to take care your parent as they get older, to protect your family.

But how do you know that successful person is not happy?

Happiness is subjective. Some enjoy an easy life, while others take joy in competitions. Who are we to decide for them what true happiness is?

Just fun: The pressure during school time is nothing if compare with the pressure when you read topic on voz where vozer show of salary or their income. So I am still a loser right now. I remember that when I was assigned a difficult math by my teacher and could complete it, I had a happy feeling
