metoo, but i found my problem is i didn't try hard enough. we should be persistent and learn new words everyday, even just one word a day. and write that word down without vietnamese meaning, just a column with all english new words . . . then when u look back those u will find out how many words u still remember, moreover u also have to try to look up in your memory what that word means. just say that. i'm very lazy tho, feel like after many years my english skills stuck in one place ...

Consistency is definitely important, so you should keep on practicing everyday. The process is fruitful, trust me on this.
However, in my view, not every time, learning words by memorizing their English meanings is appropriate. I once learnt that way, and I find out that, by default, both languages are kept active in your brain. And your reflex toward language will prioritize your native one, not the other way around since it sounds far more familiar to you, your ear, and you brain ofc. If you want to move fast, put a word in context (a paragraph), attach a Vietnamese meaning with it, then read the whole paragraph aloud, while alternating between VN and English meaning. If you have time, then follow the old way, the method that you place all your trust.
Good luck.

You should check with the Doctor. If your knee injury is really serious you can try another gentle sports like swimming, walking, cycling
That’s right. If you got trouble with your knees when you were a young guy, it’s very likely to be a severe problem when you get aged. Besides trying some gentle sports, you should do something more, like lose weight (if it matters), take calcium supplements, etc.

what is the meaning of threads ? Does it mean topic ?
Google say: “Topic = subject, the matter/question/issue under discussion. Thread = the string of messages/posts addressing that topic. (It is derived from the thread your teacher was talking about, the stuff used in sewing.)”

Ps:
On a forum like Reddit, the topic is the main post that people can reply to, with its own page. A thread is a chain of people replying to each other; a topic can contain many threads.

On a site like this, discussions aren't sorted to show who is replying to who, so "topic" and "thread" are the same thing.

So, in vietnamese do you knows what words we use for " threads"?

you better try to read comic books, it isn't boring at all like a whole thick novel. or find any newspapers, articles, even script of some tedtalks you're interested in.. begin with those little things first, I advise. bytheway I saw you keep asking this question about what book's title you should read but i guess you didn't read any after some advice, didn't you?

so what make you hesitate that much? grab any wall of text you find and seek a new word, write that down and be happy when you'll have moved a little bit forward in your learning journey. just do it my man : ))
Don't guess me wrong, man. I have reading Harry Potter but I want to know more opinion

Since the last time, I introduced Andrea Bocelli. This time, it's Frank Sinatra's turn. I first knew about this man when I played a game names Payday2. Later, I figured out that this guy was an extraordinary singers and a symbol in American's pop cultural. Enjoy the voice of the man, the myth, the legend, Francis Albert Sinatra
