It's been a long time since I returned to this topic after being banned by a mod for a year just because I created an IMO (International Math Olympiad) topic and now I'm waiting for the first cold wind of winter this year. now. It's still 28 degrees Celsius now

Welcome back. Hopefully, the lowered temperature due to the rain today has cooled you down a little bit.

Another struggling day for me but it's better for now!

Check out my short writing on my love about Vietnamese coffee and the related memories:

I have read everything you wrote on your blog (I don't know if it's true?), I think you come from the gen y generation (8x) because gen z these days only like cafes shops where they can check in on ins, they do not care or pay attention to the taste of coffee, just satisfy their eyes

Do you know the specific reason (like rule violation)? If that's true, I can't believe you have been banned for an IMO topic.
Although I'm not a Math student (I study Computer Science at high school and university), I feel Math is interesting. Banning an account for an IMO topic is not a good idea,

I did not read the rules and did not have any arguments with the mods. That topic has nearly 200 comments. Everyone is very happy to discuss and contribute. I think its more useful than topics about breasts or butts, but it's still deleted (the truth is I'm bad at math but admire people who are master at math)

You're probably right. I don't know much about gen Z but I'm glad if beautiful Ins photos bring them joy. And yes, I'm an 80's kid.

I normally think of the problem as "people behave differently when using different languages". I get it now.
I used to think this is the reason. But every once in a while, there would be some trolls rolling in here, throw bait everywhere, get ignored and leave

The phrase "Winds of Winter" hurts my very soul.

The phrase "Winds of Winter" hurts my very soul.
I like the winter because It makes me remember my childhood when I was in sixth grade, I biked to school on the dike, one side was the field, one side was the river, bamboos made music following the cold wind, smoke flew above the river, flocks of swallows fly in the clear sky like the lyrst Mùa xuân đầu tiên, the only song make me goosebumps, I know you come from the south so it is hard you image the thing I wrote above, just I want to share with everyone here the best my memory until I die

That's such a sweet and beautiful memory. Reading it brought me a sense of peace!

I was joking about the book call "Winds of Winter" book 6 of 7 in the series "A Song of Ice and Fire" (or A Game of Thrones) which will never be released. :too_sad:
But yeah, I kinda get what you mean. Although I'm a Southerner, I'm blessed with many chances to travel and roam the earth. I know the calm serenity that come with the nature as we wander in it. I tasted the peace of mind as I let my soul run free with the world. Those moments, they rarely last long, but perhaps that is enough for me then.

Hey, congrats on this significant milestone! Break a leg! 👍
Update: I'll say I did it 70% ok. I covered my presentation in time, the topic is interesting, other Professors have a lot of questions. However, after I failed to answers one question, the PI who gave the question asked my advisor and from there, all Professors started to communicate in Korean till the end.
I'm still not good enough, heh

I've never been a good student, so what you have done is very admirable to me. Keep up the good work!

You are definitely better than me

Hi, guys. I live in Vietnam and i am trying my best to learn English too. Over the course of 2 years, i have been learning new words dramatically and i also try listening videos in English only to help me build the foundation of my English. So now, i definitely desire to improve my abilities to use and do English. This is likely my first thoughts i have ever written in this hard language on this website. At first, this likes an obstacle to me to overcome, but i hope the more i write, the more i think in English to help me have better results that can help me have more career choices. And i wish i could become a member of this irresistible thread. Have a good day, all of you guys
